Not Doing Well

The Pell family is struggling. I (Sarah) woke up last night with a pretty high fever and cold. I have been in bed all day and do not seem to be improving. John has taken over all baby duties even though he has had an off and on fever as well. This process of getting to know a baby in a foreign country is hard enough with healthy parents. We are now on survival mode. Please pray for us. Pray that we will wake up tomorrow refreshed and well, ready to make our 24 hour trip home. Pray that Johnny continues to do well. He is very laid back and pretty undemanding for his age which has been a huge blessing.

Thank you all for your comments. I was hoping to blog more but was sick with something Monday night as well so just haven't been up to it. I will fill you all in when I get back.

Love,

The Pell Family

  1. Praying for healing, strength and JOY! Praying the enemy would not be able to steal your joy through circumstances (even though they are very hard). Praying God would supply all your needs (health, safe travels, calm baby). Love you guys!

  2. Oh no... We're praying for you John and Sarah! Just remember- in a little over 24 hours you will be at home with both of your babes, in your own house, your own bed, eating your own food, and with lots of help from Poppy and Yaya! Love you guys! Hang in there!

  3. Oh, I am so sorry to hear this, Sarah. Mekele and I are praying for you now. Lifting you up for full healing and recovery, sleep, and for protection. Its wonderful how Johnny is being so laid back now. I was sick on the plane ride home, and Mekele couldn't have done better. I believe that's a bit of God's grace when we need it most.

  7. Oh Sarah - I hope by the time you get this message you are feeling better. I see by the clock on your blog it is nearly midnight there. Each time I open my coat closet I see little Johnny's gift and I can't wait to meet him and see Emma's interaction with her new brother. Sleep well. Know you are all in my prayers. Love you !
