Sarah!! I just read about your delays, and just wanted to bawl with you!! I can't imagine!! What a horrible experience. I'm so glad you're home and the pictures of Emma with Johnny are PRECIOUS!! I hope it's going well now that you're home. Can't wait to keep up with you and watch your progress.
I love the pictures, especially that last one! I definitely have a cute lil nephew. I want to know if there was some sort of coin toss for who got to carry him out of the plane.
As I have poured over these pictures again and again, I'm struck by the blessings Johnny will have in life by having you as his parents and Emma as his sister. And how much richer you two are through this journey. I just read this quote from Chesterton today describing what hope is, "the power of being cheerful in circumstances that we know to be desperate." You have known desperation but have remained hopeful in the midst of it. Love from the Scellicks
Great pics! We love the last photo too! Emma looks so proud of her baby brother. We didn't think your adorable family could get much cuter, but it has! Love you guys.
Dear Pells, My cousin and his wife have adopted from China and I follow several blogs of adopted families. I pray for the Lord to protect and complete the adoptions of children from all the countries that still have open doors for adoptions for children in their countries. Thank you for answering the call for the orphan. God Bless you and your new family and for letting Jonnelle report on such a blessed event in today's upside world. What a light!! In Him, Sandy in High Point
All I can say is...GOD IS GREAT!!! These pictures are amazing!!!!! He is the absolute perfect addition to your already beautiful family! Take care and enjoy every moment with those beautiful kiddos!
Yay! just had a chance to see your blog and your homecoming pictures. Your family is just beautiful and I'm glad to see you settling in so well. So glad we got to travel with you guys!
As many of you know, the cost of adoption is very high and will be impossible for us to complete without humbly asking for help. We have partnered with the Abba Fund to allow for tax deductible donations to help bring our child home. If you would like to help us in this way, please click on the link above. A donation can be made with a check or credit card*. If you choose to contibute by credit card please indicate "PELL FAMILY FUND" when it asks for "Partnership Fund Designation". If you send a check, you can send the check to us and we will make sure it gets where it needs to go. Thank you so much for your support. *The Abba Fund charges a 3% service fee for credit card transactions.
